1) Remove all bedding from the bed except for the fitted bottom sheet. Lift the mattress or slide it out of the way. This step is easier with two people, but it can be accomplished alone. Place the Sheet Cinch with tag facing up onto the box spring or bed frame approximately 1/3 of the way from the head of the bed. You only need to do this once. It will always remain under your mattress. The cinch strap may be rotated to either side of the bed. This is the location of most of your body weight when lying down, and the location where most sheet wrinkles occur. Make sure the 4 straps with clips and the 1 pull strap (the cinch) are lying flat and extend beyond the mattress.
2) Move the mattress back into place. Position the Sheet Cinch straps in a wide V. They need to be approximately 24-30 inches apart and should extend beyond the top edge of your box spring or frame.
3) Attach the clips to the edge of your bottom sheet. This is the most crucial step in the process.
A) Open the clip.
B) Bunch and seat the elastic as deep as you can into the mouth of the clip past the teeth.
C) Close the clip. When you hear a click, the clip is secure.
4) With your hands, pull your bottom sheet down to reduce friction when you pull the cinch.
5) Pull the cinch strap until your bottom sheet is snug. Stop pulling the cinch when you see the bottom sheet indenting the top edge of the mattress. It is a subtle, but effective way to hold your sheet. Your bottom sheet will be held securely and comfortably in place. If the clips detach, repeat steps 3 & 4.
6) Tuck the cinch strap back under the mattress. Get ready for smoother sleep!

Does your bottom sheet not have elastic on the sides? Time to switch the clips!
Are you wondering how to change the clips on the Sheet Cinch? If your bed sheets have elastic around the sides, then you can use the Sheet Cinch with the clips installed on the product when it arrives. If your bottom sheet does NOT have elastic around the sides, or if you use a flat sheet as your bottom sheet that does not have elastic, you will need to swap the clips. This is a simple process to change the clips to the garter clips that come in a bag in your Sheet Cinch box.

How to remove current clip that comes on the Sheet Cinch:
1) With one hand grab the clip.
2) With the other hand loosen the loop attached to the clip by pulling down.
3) Pull the black string up and over the top of the clip to release the clip from the string.
How to attach the garter clip:
1) Hold the garter clip so the rubber circle is facing you.
2) Insert the black string through the skinny bottom metal opening in the garter clip.
3) Pull the garter clip down to the base of the strap.
4) Loop the string over the top of the garter clip.
5) Pull tight to secure.
